ACTIVITIES OF DELHI STATE CENTRE
• Indian Institution of Technical Arbitrators (Delhi Centre) Two Day Program on 27th & 28th March 2017on Dispute Resolution in Construction Contracts & New Challenges Ahead for NDMC New Delhi.
• Indian Institution of Technical Arbitrators (Delhi Centre) Two Day Program on 7th & 8th July 2017on Dispute Resolution in Construction Contracts for CPWD at Chandigarh.
• Organised a successful Conference on 17 th & 20 th May 2017on “Dispute
Management in Infrastructure projects: New Challenges."
• Three new Institution members have been enrolled & attached to Delhi State Centre.

d. IITArb, organised a Two-Day Conference on Dispute Management in Infrastructure Projects: New Challenges on May 19-20, 2017 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Some images are available in this section and rest in the download section for download.
• Organised a lecture on international arbitration on 19-04-2016
a. “Public Policy of India” By Shri Jag Mohan Lal.
b. “Enforcement of Domestic and Foreign Awards” by Er. H.L. Chawla, Arbitrator and Consultant.
• A round table conference was organised in DG CPWD Conference room on 22-12-2015 on amendment in arbitration act 1996.
• Action for Enrolment of IITArb as an Institution for conducting institutional arbitration is being taken for referring cases for institutional arbitration. Rules have been framed and application submitted to Law Ministry for empanelment.
• Technical Lectures were organised
a. On 23/01/2014 on the topic of “Appointment of Arbitrator in Construction Contracts“ by Shri Arvind Minocha, Advocate and Shri K. K. Singal, Retd. CE Haryana PWD in IBC Conference Hall.
b. "Interpretation of Court Judgements – Principle of Obiter Dicta" by Shri A.K. Verma, Advocate and “ Four Walls of Arbitrator’s Jurisdiction” by Shri O.P. Gaddhyan, Former ADG, CPWD on 17th April, 2014 in IBC Conference Hall.
c. On proposed amendments to Arbitration and Conciliation Act of 1996 in Vigyan Bhawan on 22/05/2015. It was delivered by Shri P. K. Malhotra, Law Secretary, Govt. of India and was very well attended.
• IITArb Newsletters is being published and circulated quartely. Posted on website.
• Training programme held on 20th and 21st Feb 2014 on Arbitration matters for DDA Engineers at DDA premises.
• International Conference on “Role of arbitration in Engineering Contracts” was held on 7th-8th Nov. 2014 at Vigyan Bhawan. Detailed Report had been circulated separately.
